July 31, IT Home news: According to a tweet from the NIOH Auto official account on Tuesday, NIOH X surpassed 1000 orders within 72 hours of its launch in Thailand.
On July 26, the NIOH X, a pure electric SUV, was simultaneously launched in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Bangkok, Thailand, on July 25. The official announcement marked a significant acceleration of NIOH Auto's globalization strategy in the Southeast Asian market.
This year, NIOH Auto has established three factories in Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
In January, NIOH Auto signed a partnership agreement with a Malaysian partner, establishing its third overseas factory in Malaysia.
In March, NIOH Auto's Thailand Eco-Smart Factory commenced mass production, with an expected annual capacity of 30,000 vehicles.
In April, NIOH Auto's Indonesia Eco-Smart Factory rolled off its first production vehicles.
According to previous IT Home reports, NIOH Auto CEO Zhang Yong revealed on the 28th that the new NIOH X model will be launched domestically in early August. For reference, the current NIOH X's official guide price ranges from 99,800 to 124,800 yuan.
The current model began mass deliveries in November last year, offering five exterior color options and two interior color choices. The vehicle's dimensions are 4619/1860/1628 mm in length, width, and height, respectively, with a wheelbase of 2770 mm.
In terms of interior, the current NIOH X features an 8.9-inch fully digital instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch square central control screen. The lower part of the center console is equipped with a wireless charging pad. The interior soft-touch material coverage reaches 80%, and most physical buttons have been eliminated, replaced by a column-mounted shifter design.
In terms of power, the current model is equipped with a 120kW motor, paired with a front MacPherson and rear multi-link suspension system, and an H-EPT4.0 battery thermal management system, achieving CLTC electric-only ranges of 401km and 501km.
